In my research, I use a multi-method approach including experimental, longitudinal, and cross-cultural designs and different types of measures (e.g., physiological measures, implicit measures, eye tracking, content analysis, and self-report). I have made conceptual and empirical contributions to lifespan psychology in three key areas: (a) Self, Identity, and Aging, (b) Stereotypes,Mindsets, and Health and (c) Social Status and Social Inequality.
